Install Systemback 1.2.0 on Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca, Linux Mint 17 Qiana & Ubuntu 15.04 vivid Vervet, ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr (LTS) via PPA

Systemback makes it easy to create backups of system and users configuration files. In case of problems you can easily restore the previous state of the system. There are extra features like system copying, system installation and Live system creation.

Systemback is similar to Timeshift application and also comes with system repair and system upgrade function.

Systemback 1.2.0 available on PPA, to install on ubuntu and linux mint and other Ubuntu derivative systems, open a new Terminal window and bash (get it?) in the following commands:

Systemback 1.2.0

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nemh/systemback
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install systemback

Systemback 1.2.0.999

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nemh/systemback daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install systemback

Optional, to remove systemback, do:

sudo apt-get remove systemback
