Sunflower is a small and highly customizable twin-panel file manager for Linux with support for plugins. It is intended to be an easy-to-use and powerful file manager that seamlessly integrates into the GNOME desktop environment (but not limited to).

For Ubuntu vivid Vervet, ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr (LTS), Ubuntu 13.10/13.04/12.04, you can install Sunflower 0.2.59 Twin-Panel File Manager using PPA, Like this :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/sunflower
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sunflower

For Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca and older version, open a new Terminal window and bash (get it?) in the following commands:

wget -c http://sunflower-fm.org/pub/sunflower-0.2.59-1.all.deb
sudo dpkg -i sunflower-0.2.59-1.all.deb
sudo rm -rf sunflower-0.2.59-1.all.deb

And Debian Derivative system, Like this :

wget -c http://sunflower-fm.org/pub/sunflower-0.2.59-1.all.deb
sudo dpkg -i sunflower-0.2.59-1.all.deb

In case “dpkg” indicates missing dependencies, complete the installation by executing the following command:

sudo apt-get install -f
